“ We always love to stop by for delicious, very well-priced food. We have eaten in the restaurant and also have taken it out before, as they have many tables available. The staff is always very friendly, and we enjoy eating an array of their items, but our favorite is the chicken and fries. Portions are huge, so we share, and we can't generally finish the food. Always a treat to stop by when we can. Enjoy. ”

“ Ferry St. BBQ has been a spot that I've been coming to for years, as I've worked my entire career in Newark. Just as I remember it before, it is the same today- lines out the door and the phones ringing non stop. While there is ample space for dining in, I ordered take out. Gentleman told me it would be ready in 15 minutes, I ended up waiting for 25, no biggie as I enjoyed the scent of roasting chicken on open fire (seriously, I do). I ordered a half chicken and half salmon with fries, salad and rice. The rice was a bit saltier than I remembered it and the salmon could've been cooked a tiny bit longer. Overall, Ferry St. BBQ is a staple in Newark and nothing can hit the spot better when you're in the Ironbound, in a rush and looking for a good bite. ”
